God is Sovereign

GOD IS SOVEREIGN

Psalm 37:35-36KJV

35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

Romans 8:28KJV

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,

to them who are the called according to His purpose

In times like these, illuminate all that Christ stood for and all that God is…

It is high time for the children of God to disciple those who are confused, disappointed, fearful and hurt over this past presidential election and other elections.

We are the salt of the earth.  We know that God is still in control; however, some don’t know that and they are moved by what they see and hear.

Let the believers stand up and share that God has ALL power. 

Sometimes God allows certain things to happen for His people to be more faithful 

in honor and worship of His sovereignty.

Be still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Pray and watch God change things.

What the devil meant for evil, God makes good.

A FAITH WALK

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:13 | NKJV

We have gifts! Yes, there are great gifts that God has given each of us.
Are we using our gifts for the glory of God and not ourselves?
Stir up your gift(s) and use the strength of Christ to perform.
If there was nothing special about doing this,

 the devil wouldn’t be trying to keep you from your greatness.

DON'T be discouraged by these:

 naysayers, 

those who plot against you, 

those who gossip about you,

haters,

false friends,

true enemies,

...and the list goes on.

Christ himself was disputed, betrayed and hated; but He 

continued to fulfill the plan and greatness for His life.

To believe this scripture and trust the impact of it is a faith walk.
Walk in faith knowing that Jesus will and that you 

can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Don't Get Stuck in a Rut

IT'S TIME TO GO WHEN GOING IS FROM GOD

 

Exodus 4:10-12 NIV

Moses said to the Lord,

O Lord, I have never been eloquent,

neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. 

I am slow of speech and tongue.”

The Lord said to him, Who gave man his mouth? 

Who makes him deaf or mute? 

Who gives him sight or makes him blind?

Is it not I, the Lord?

Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.

 

When God has anointed and appointed you for a position, 

there is no bargaining.

God doesn't reveal all of His plans for our lives

 because He knows that

We will try to make detours and take different paths.

Don't worry about being perfect.  God will perfect you in His will.

Don't worry about the image that others 

may see of you and cast judgment.

Don't worry about the perception that others 

may have of you and cast judgment.

Go and do what God has already positioned and 

equipped you to do.

Be sure that it is a call from God and 

not a move on your own.

Pray.

Be Confident.

A VALUABLE LESSON: BEWARE OF LIARS

A VALUABLE LESSON:  LIARS 

Have you ever stared a liar in the face when you knew that he/she was lying to you?  

What a life lesson for all to learn.

Here's the lesson, never let a liar know that you know he/she is a liar.
You're only going to frustrate yourself by doing so. 

Simply watch, recognize, listen and pray for the liar.

Watch the liar because you know that he/she cannot be trusted.

Don't entrust anything of value with a liar.

Don't trust your friendship, your well-being, your possessions or your morals and values with a liar.

Just watch them in order to learn how they operate and manipulate.

You will see that their body language and facial expressions reveal who they are.

Don't be fooled by their smiles and gestures that seem like an act of kindness.

Recognize the lie and the liar - not publicly.  God will handle that.

Know the liars for who they really are - not who you want to think they are.

You don't have to defend a lie.

The truth will overpower the lie.

Maybe not in your timing; but in due time, the truth will overshadow the lie.

Listen to liars- but don't believe them; 

In listening, you will hear the scheme of his/her lies.

...and you will learn about the character of the liar.

Don't try to figure them out or understand them.

You won't; unless you're of the same character..

Liars want you to believe that they are on your side when they really are not.

Liars are masters of deception.  Snakes.  Self-seeking.

Pray for the liar.  Pray for their repentance.

Forgive the liars.  

Yes, forgive them because God will cover you 

with His hedge of protection against the wiles of liars and their schemes.

Pray and ask God for the gift of spiritual discernment.

Allow the Holy Spirit to abide in you as your protector and your guide.

Liars and lying are destructive, divisive and unproductive.

Be a truth-bearer.

Be of the truth even when the truth isn't popular or embraced.

I would rather embrace the truth even if the truth hurts; 

than to embrace a lie that will not stand on solid ground.

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

STOP THIEF!

Stop Thief!

Really?  Did you just try to rob me???

Where is my purse, you asked???

My purse is where it belongs!
Now, where do you belong?

Where are your parents?

What are your future aspirations?

Where do you go from here? What are you thinking?

What does the future hold for you?   

Certainly you can't expect to have a future of robbing people.  Don't you know that your life is more precious than wasting it in a jail cell or an early grave?  As for the others who were waiting on you in the getaway car, they are not your friends.  True friends don't let friends do wrongful acts.  

True friends don't help friends do wrong.  I'm old enough to be your mother and did you just try to rob me???!!!!  

Shame.  What a shame. I thank Jesus for watching over me.  I thank God that there was a band of angels dispatched to protect me.  This could have been worse.  This could have gone in every wrong way imaginable.  I pray for this young man.  I pray that he turns from his wicked ways and repents.

We must pray for our young people.

Some of them are so lost and hopeless.

Ezekiel 33:14-15ESV

14 Again, though I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ yet if he turns from his sin and does what is just and right, 15 if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has taken by robbery, and walks in the statutes of life, not doing injustice, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

STOP THE VIOLENCE - Caskets Too Short, Too Soon, For All the Wrong Reasons

Unacceptable!
They are killing our future.
                          Under no circumstances should parents have to                           bury a child due to abuse, neglect or violence.

Under no circumstances should children be angry and Godless.
Under no circumstances should children and irresponsible people
be in possession of guns or any other weapons of destruction.

Under no circumstances should we be afraid to trust the police and policymakers.

Under no circumstances should our children, communities and families be at risk.
                                 Under no circumstances should citizens be                                    afraid to drive through certain neighborhoods.

Under no circumstances should children have  no safe place to play.

Under no circumstances should we be afraid of our youth.
Under no circumstances should we live in fear.
Under no circumstances should we lack brotherly or sisterly love.
Under no circumstances should we refuse to honor God.
Under no circumstances should there be hate.

Under no circumstances should we lack compassion.

God is love.
When we turn away from God, we turn away from love.
...for that reason we have violence, hate, hurt and destruction.
Unacceptable!
