WINGS LIKE EAGLES

Isaiah 40:31NLT

31 

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
    They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
    They will walk and not faint.

God is not dead.  Regardless of what we see and hear, regardless of how terrible things may seem, God is sitting high and looking low.  My heart is heavy for the children who are being separated from their parents.  It's frightening to think that people would be in such deplorable and desperate situations that cause them to flee under such conditions.  It's frightening to think of children in homeless situations with no parents (in this country and those from other countries).  

It's frightening to think of the heartless decisions and actions of people who are poor in spirit.  But my faith tells me that God is in the midst.  So, I fear not because He's watching.  

No matter what is laying heavy on your heart or burdening you, be patient and faithful. Continue to pray and watch God change things.

⁵ For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.

The same God who was there for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, Daniel, Jesus Christ and many more is here with us today in 2018 - eternity.  Don 't look at the material things in life and expect that those things will save your soul or buy God's love and mercy.  He loves us in spite of our shortcomings.  He continues to shine his love and mercy on us without cost.  He is good.  He is great.  He is the keeper of our souls...don't sell out to darkness.  Suicide is not an act of faith in God.  Nothing is worth taking your life.  God is sovereign over ALL things.  

God is faithful to us - Keep your faith in Him.  

FAITH AND OBEDIENCE

¹⁴As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.

God is not our personal assistant.  He doesn’t master in doing everything we we want Him to do.Therefore, we must trust Him in His work.  As we embark upon faith and obedience, we will learn that our prayers are answered by God’s will and purpose for our lives.  Sometimes, He answers yes, no or wait.  The Word of God tells us that we must always pray, we must be faithful and obedient.  Believe God for whatever you're praying for.  Be obedient to  Trust God even when we cannot trace Him or understand what He’s doing.
