Obedience

Obedience.  Being obedient towards our parents is one of the first rules tht we learned during childhood.  So, why is being obedient to God, our heavenly father, such a difficult task for some – me.  Why do we size-up, compare and analyze what God tells us to do?  Why do we wonder “what will the people say?”

God has the highest intelligence and wisdom in this entire universe.  Therefore, if He tells us to do something – do it.  When He inspires the Holy Spirit to tug at our hearts and minds – do it.  If you can’t sleep because He keeps speaking to you in that still voice that only comes from Him – do it.  How do you know when it comes from God?  It won’t leave you alone.  The feeling gets in your spirit and lingers until it’s done.

Once you do what He calls you to do, you begin to immediately see His hand at work.  You’re fully equipped.  Now, I am being obedient to God – I’m compiling a wealth of spirit-guided devotions and commentaries for MY NEW book.   For several years, I pondered all of the doubts, criticisms, non-believers, and more.  But, I’m moving forward in obedience and faith.
